When you need an experienced provider for digital microfilm scanning services, Edocs has you covered. We scan microfilm into digital images from 16mm or 35mm rolls or cartridges. Whether you have one roll or thousands of rolls, we can digitize all of your microfilm into high quality images very cost-effectively using the most advanced, state-of-the-art microfilm digital scanners in the industry. With the capacity of scanning hundreds of rolls per day on-site, our microfilm conversion center operates around the clock to meet all of your scanning needs.
At Edocs, we use the latest generation microfilm digital scanners to digitize microfilm of all types. Most standard microfilm scanners attempt to capture individual frames at scan time. However, they can miss frames when the film is inconsistent, which it often is. Our high-caliber microfilm digital scanners scan the entire roll of microfilm including areas in between frames. We can then interactively evaluate the results to manually capture any frames that may have been missed. We also adjust the image quality to make up for the film density changes throughout a roll.
With over 25 years of expertise working diligently in the industry, we have encountered all of the common issues related to microfilm digital conversions. Not only are all of our technicians dedicated to providing the high-quality digital microfilm scanning services, we’re committed to ensuring all of our clients are completely satisfied from start to finish.
After the microfilm digital scanning and imaging is complete, we can index the scanned documents by matching to any existing databases such as CAR databases (Computer Aided Retrieval), by manual keying, or other methods. Additional services include OCR for text searchable PDF files, unitizing images into documents, and preparing images and index information for import into your ECM system.
ISO 27001 is the international standard for managing risks related to the security of information and data your organisation holds.
